“These lovely tikkis are the best tikkis for the health conscious people. These are low in calories and high in iron and vegetarian too! I watched these being made on TV this morning and these were the special recipe of a weight management consultant! The best thing was the appearance of the tikkis once ready- I bet u you wont be able to say if its falafel or bran tikki! Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Put all the vegetables, salt and white pepper powder in a bowl.
  2. Mix well with your hand.
  3. Put a small portion of this on your palm and shape into a thin and small tikki (round).
  4. Likewise, repeat for remaining mixture.
  5. Pour 1 tsp oil on a flat non-stick griddle (tawa).
  6. Put tikkis on this and lightly fry on both sides.
  7. Serve with ketchup and have without worry as 1 tikki is not more than 45 calories as compared to a standard size potato tikki which is 100 calories!
