  1. I've been making it this way for years. I tend to add a splash of white wine and a very inportant addition is a little bit of nutmeg. It rounds out the flavours and you will really notice an improvment. Just a bit though as it is a strong flavour. This is not a recipe for someone watching the waist line!!!

  2. Yum...this was soooo good!! I used half & half because that was all I had and it still came out thick using the cream cheese. Thanks for sharing..this one's a keeper!

  3. Great, I've never made Alfredo before. I did add @ 1/3 brick of cream cheese. Added some leftover smoked chicken and some broccoli to those who like it. Will make again!!

  4. I thought this was yummy, and very easy. I did use the cream cheese.

  5. A really rich and delicious version of fettuccine. This makes a great side dish with chicken or anything. It's also filling enough to stand alone. Definitely need a walk after eating, though!

Tweaks

  1. This was just wonderful........nice and creamy........I substituted the garlic power for real minced garlic about 10 cloves for a serving for 6 - 10 and 1 pint of heavy cream and a cup of milk. I also served it with chicken i just fried in a pan.........5 stars

  2. Delicious! I substituted fresh minced garlic for the powder and did not add the cream cheese. I liked the punch that the cayenne adds. This is one of my favorite dishes that I do not indulge in very often due to obvious reasons. I thoroughly enjoyed this. Thanks for posting.
