- 1 1⁄2 cups ketchup
- 1 cup pure maple syrup
- 1⁄2 cup jack daniels tennessee honey whiskey
- 1⁄4 cup white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1⁄3 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1⁄3 cup soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
directions
- Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer until slightly thickened, about 10 minutes.
- NOTE: for a thicker sauce, tomato paste can be used for a portion of the ketchup.
