  • For the marinade, combine garlic, maple syrup, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic, salt and pepper.
  • Coat the chicken strips in the marinade to coat well.
  • Place in a tupperware large enough to hold the skewers or a glass baking dish.
  • Cover and marinate overnight (I left it in for 2 days and it was well worth it).
  • Thread the chicken strips on the water-soaked wooden skewers.
  • Preheat the broiler to high heat.
  • Arrange the skewers on a butter greased foil-lined baking sheet.
  • Top each with a pat of butter.
  • Broil for about 6 to 7 minutes (turning occasionally) until well browned and thoroughly cooked.
