directions

• Beat cream cheese, limeade concentrate and orange juice in medium bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
• Gently stir in Cool Whip topping.
• Cover.
• Refrigerate at least one hour.
• Serve with cut-up fresh fruit.
• To grill fruit:

• Peaches, nectarines and plums get a deep caramel-like flavor when cooked on the grill.
• Here's how to do it.
• Put pieces of fresh fruit on skewers.
• Use fruit that's just staring to soften, so that it stays firmly on the skewers.
• Sprinkle fruit with cinnamon or nutmeg.
• Place fruit on the grill for a minute to sear.
• Check the underside.
• Once it's golden with grill marks, turn it over to finish cooking.

1. I used this for a baby shower, and got a few compliments on it! I served it with grapes, blueberries, kiwis, apples, pineapple, and strawberries! It's a little bit tart, but goes nicely with sweet fruit. My children didn't care for the tartness of the dip, so maybe if some powdered sugar was added, it would be a little more kid-friendly!

2. Lovely sweet dip! I used the grilled fruit option, using strawberries, pineapple, and plums, as I couldn't find any good peaches or nectarines. I'll be sure to try it again with them later in the summer! Thanks for sharing!

I'm a recently retired San Diego trial attorney and wanna-be professional chef-restauranteur. Why am I so passionate about cooking? I don't know. What I do know is that those who don't cook are missing out on one of life's truly enjoyable experiences! I have a collection of whimsical signs posted above my workbench at home, one of which states: Love people. Cook them tasty food. How true.
8727975"
