  1. Made these for my husband and father-in-law, and we loved them. Much better than the other barbecued meatball recipe I tried, and I will make these again and again. Thanks!!

  2. Excellent recipe! I made it per recipe instructions and served with mashed potatoes. Second night we made sandwiches.

  3. What Margie says is exactly right: "This doesn't sound nearly as good as it is"! The meatballs were tender and delicious, and the sauce is so tasty for such simple ingredients. I simmered the meatballs in the sauce for about 45 minutes but otherwise didn't change a single thing in this recipe. Served with rice (to soak up the sauce) and steamed broccoli. This goes into my cookbook for another easy weeknight meal. Thanks, Margie!

I live in Louisiana and am the office manager for a plant nursery. Love to cook. My favorite cookbook is New Southern Living by Nathalie Dupree. If I had a month off I would finish testing all of my new recipes. I have been testing quite a few of the new ones I have found on Recipezaar. There are a lot of great cooks here.
