  • Grease 14inch pizza pan.
  • In large bowl dissolve yeast from hot roll mix in water.
  • Add tomato sauce, hot roll mix and cornmeal.
  • Blend well.
  • With greased fingers, spread on pan.
  • Cover and let rise until doubled (about 35 minutes).
  • In large skillet, brown beef.
  • Drain.
  • Remove from heat, add next 5 ingredients.
  • Heat oven to 400*.
  • Spread filling on crust, sprinkle with green chilis.
  • Top with cheese and olives.
  • Bake for 35 minutes or until edges are brown.

  1. I just made this for a quick dinner (we're about to head out) and it was a snap! I'm so pleased and excited that something so easy can be so readily prepared, especially when we're in the mood for pizza. I didn't use catsup and substituted my own premade homemade pizza sauce and did a blend of three cheeses: mozzerella, cheddar, and white mexican cheese. It was wonderful. The corn looked great in it. the Cornmeal really makes all the difference.
     
  2. this was so very good. i used picante instead of katsup and black olives instead of green(that's what i had in the pantry) and it turned out soooo good. very easy and VERY tasty. try this you will love it. the crust is unique and delicious!!! thanks inez!!!! polly

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
