  1. This soupa tasted great! However, I changed the quantites quite a bit ... sorry Christina, but there is NO WAY it only serves 4-6 people! I only used 3 cups noodles, 26 oz. tomatoe sauce, 1 lb hamburg, 1/2 onion, 2 tb butter, 2 cups cheese, 2 cans of corn and 1 cup salsa. This served 12 people!! Plus leftovers! I'm going to re-enter this recipe (to get the nutrition right)...Check out Mexican Soupa 2

  2. This is what we ate growing up. You may want to try to fry a jalepeno when you fry the noodles. It gives it a great flavor. Look in the mexican food section in your grocery store and try fideo noodles.

  3. This soup has a great flavor, thanks to the salsa. The directions call for boiling water, but no mention of amount. I added one can of water for each can of tomato sauce. It seemed to be pretty flavorful that way, but there was not much broth, so perhaps I should have added more?

  4. HI.. got an e-mail from someone asking what noodles to use. The fun thing is you can use any UNBAKED noodle you want from Mac to alphabets. Let me know if you have anymore questions to ask. Christina

  5. As if I haven't had enough Mexican ( or similar to Mexican) food but this recipe looked so different I had to try it - It is really good I didn't change anything except I put in a chooped jalapeno and cut the recipe in half. Thank-you for a different but yummy soup, easy economical and good
