  1. Another yummy side dish to add to the weekly rotation! So light and fresh tasting! I did add a squeeze of the lemon juice too but no other changes. The best part is these peas will go with almost anything! Thanks for a great recipe!

  2. My husband enjoyed these a lot, and I agree they were good, but nothing special. I probably prefer sugar snap peas steamed with just plain butter, salt and pepper on them instead. Somehow I think the apple juice made these a bit too sweet? They tasted better after salt and pepper was added.

  3. I made these in my wok, and stir fried them quickly. Had along with Beef Tenderloin and Garlic Mashed Potatoes for a great meal last night for my mom for Mother's Day. We all loved this dish!

  4. This recipe was quite easy & tasty. A great way to make regular snap peas seem gourmet!

  5. Oh my! Delicious. All of the ingredients make for an outstanding side dish.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
