Minty Carob Shake (Raw Vegan)
- Ready In:
- 10mins
- Ingredients:

- Yields:
-
5 cups
- Serves:
- 2
ingredients
- 4 dates, soaked
- 1 cup water
- 3 cups bananas (I use half or even all frozen for a frosty treat)
- 1⁄4 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1⁄4 cup raw carob powder
directions
- First blend the dates and water (once you put frozen bananas in those dates get really cold & hard to blend so work them out first).
- Add the rest of the ingredients and blend up. You may need to add more water to get things moving, thats fine it won't take away any flavor. Garnish with a mint leaf if you like but mine is usually gone before I would even have time for this. Enjoy!

This is delicious and easy to make! I was afraid that the flavors of the dates and bananas would be overpowering, but they really complemented the carob powder, giving it a rich, chocolaty flavor. I have to admit that I used soy milk instead of water, which isn't raw, but made it even "creamier." I found that one large banana was enough. I will definitely make this again.
