Mocha Caramel Fondue

  • Gently heat caramels, cream, coffee, and chocolate in the top of a double-boiler over simmering, but not boiling water.
  • Stir constantly until smooth.
  • Next transfer the toffee mixture to a fondue pot, keep warm and serve with an assortment of fruits, marshmallows, pretzels, cake chunks and cookies.
  • Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.

  1. I showed this recipe to my 14 yo when I tagged it a couple of days ago for 123 Hit Wonders. Upon her first bite she said, "This was not worth waiting for...we should have had it the first day!" I'm guessing we'll be making this again and again.
     
  2. wow this fondue is one of the best we did. DH is still talking about it. If you like coffee, then you will like this fondue cause we can taste the coffee in it. WOW again LOL We were 2 adults and I did half the recipe. We had leftover for the next day that we reheated in the microwave. And DH ate the leftover. Usually he doesn't really like sweet desserts. For the chocolate I used black chocolate. We used pears, apples, banana, grapes. For DS, I made him a little fondue with only the caramels, cream and chocolate.
