  1. This is a great recipe taste-wise. However, the biscuit dough and margarine are really unhealthy. You can substitute frozen bread dough (1 lb. loaf, defrosted - no need to let rise) if you don't want to make the dough from scratch, and real butter. I actually use a whole wheat dough recipe, organic sugar and a 50/50 mix of light (tasteless) olive oil/butter to bump it up a healthy notch. But if you don't care about hydrogenated fats this is a yummy recipe!

  2. These were so good. I used a 9x13 pan since my husband was taking them to work. Loved the sauce.

  3. This is a really good recipe. I've made it for special breakfast occasions for a number of years. It's best served warm and fresh. People can't get enough of it. A kitchen scissors works great for cutting your biscuits apart.

  4. This was so easy and delicious Plus it looks phenomenal, like I spent hours in the kitchen :-) Thanks!

  5. My family and I love this recipe! Quick and easy to make and it's gone as soon as you take it out of the oven! :) DELICIOUS!

I like to cook, I am a simple cook though. I find it nice to take a few simple ingredients, that by them selves may not be much, but put them together and they turn into a nourishing meal. I have raised 5 sons, they are all grown now. So I have cooked a meal or two in my life. I still like to cook, but I don't cook as much as I used to. My favorite meal is fried pork chops, Mashed potatoes and gravy, with spaghetti a close second.I like things that are easy to make, these days if it is not I probably won't go to the trouble.
