My Three Bean Salad-No Sugar

"I wasn't going to post this recipe because there are so many bean salad recipes out there, but my search for one similar to this came up blank. This is more fresh and less sweet than most of the three bean salads I found. Also, I use garbanzo beans instead of the usual wax beans. Did not include time to marinate since this can be eaten right away, but is much better a few hours or a day later."

  1. Havent made yet, but I have been looking for a SF or LS recipe. I am vegetarian so beans are a huge aspect of my diet. I bought & loved the Paisley Farm 4 Bean Salad at Costco. I searched numerous recipe sites & all bean salads had a huge amt of sugar, like 3/4c. Reading the previous reviews I see a lot of people added black beans into the mix...making it a 4 bean salad. I love that because black beans are my all time favorite...them & Chic Peas. I will return to edit this after I make it

  2. SO GOOD!!! I love that this is NO SUGAR. I followed the recipe...except that I added a can of black beans...so it came out 4 bean salad.

  3. I love this recipe! I eat a bit almost every day. It’s so simple I make a big batch and keep it in the fridge as a side dish. Lots of times I will substitute Northern beans for the green beans. It’s great either way!

  4. This recipe is one of the few things I can eat that actually gives me energy. I have it several times a week. The sauce proportions are just right. I tried adding more one time and it was too oily. I like to add some Italian parsley and I skip the oregano.

  5. Love this! I need to cut down on sugar and honestly dislike the super sweet versions. I don't feel like I'm missing anything at all. I added lots more Chalula and a little lemon for my taste.
