  1. I was un-ssure about it, but it ended up being a hit at the dinner table. I put in one 8 oz. can of tomato sauce, and I used 8 oz. fat-free Mozzarella cheese. I also added a little salt. I layered it twice. I think the next time I make it I will put a foil tent on top, and bake it for 5 min. longer or heat up the spinach first in the microwave. Very Good.

  2. Absolutely fantastic!! I added some green peppers and onions. Also, I subed ground turkey breast which decreased fat content without compromising the flavor. What a great protein and vitamin enriched meal.

  3. This was awesome! Very easy healthy comfort food. I love the spinach and cottage cheese mixture. I used reduced fat cheese and next time I will add even more mushrooms. If you enjoy this another great variation of noodle free lasagna is zucchini lasagna #749. Both are great!!

  4. I found this recipe a bit vague, but the end result was wonderful. I used a 10 oz. pkg. of frozen spinach leaves, thawed, and am debating over using frozen chopped instead next time (it would have been easier to mix with the cottage cheese). I have to admire all you "ascetics" who only used 8 oz of cheese - I used 12 oz./3c.! I thought that was about perfect ;). I also used the 8 oz can of tomato sauce and I didn't drain the mushrooms before adding to the sauce (it doesn't say one way or the other, but the extra liquid seemed to be the right amount). I was out of parsley, but I'll try to add it next time. I will definitely use this often - at first the lack of fresh ingredients threw me, but that makes it super-easy; a weeknight meal. I would call this 4 servings instead of 9, but that might just be me ;). This is a five star recipe, but the ingredient list and directions were too vague.

  5. This was absolutely wonderful!! We made the recipe as stated only I used sugar free spagetti sauce and ff mozzarella cheese. This is a dream meal especially after all of the eggs, salad and chicken we have had due to being on the south beach diet!! Any south beach dieters out there, I highly reccomend this recipes, its better than anything in the book!!!
