Oatmeal BlueBerry Bread

ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 6 tablespoons softened butter
- 2 slightly beaten eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1⁄4 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup blueberries
directions
- Heat oven to 350.
- Grease a nd flour a 9x5x3" loafpan.
- In a large mixing bowl,combine the first 7 ingredients.
- Cut in butter,blend until mixute resembles coarse meal.
- Mix the milk,eggs& corn syrup,combining well.
- Add to first mixture.
- Stir just until it is all moistened.
- Add in berries.
- Pour the batter in the loafpan.
- Bake 1 hour,10 minutes or until toothpick in center comes out clean.
- When done,let bread cool for at least 10 minutes before removing.
- Let cool on wire rack.

An excellent quick bread with a wonderful texture. We also liked that it wasn't overly sweet. We tried it both with and without butter and it is delicious either way. I used frozen blueberries we picked earlier this year and just stirred them in frozen, it worked great. Thanks for sharing this recipe, I will definitely make again. Nick's Mom
