ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 1⁄2 cups boiling water
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 3⁄4 cups brown sugar, separated
- 2 eggs
- 3⁄4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1⁄2 cup butterscotch chips
directions
- Mix rolled oats and water; let stand.
- Mix 1 cup brown sugar, white sugar, eggs, oil and vanilla in another bowl.
- Add oat mixture.
- Mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
- Mix all ingredients together and pour into a greased 9x13” pan.
- Sprinkle remaining brown sugar, white chocolate chips and butterscotch chips on top of cake.
- Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 to 45 minutes, until toothpick inserted in cake comes out clean.
- Cool and enjoy.
