One Onion Pot Roast

"Simple & tasty, can't remember where I got this, maybe from the Lipton people. I'v been using it for quite sometime & it turns out great everytime."

  • Place beef on top of onions in a roasting pan.
  • Combine the rest of the ingredients & pour on top.
  • Cover tightly, (I use aluminum foil under the lid for a good tight seal. Lay the foil on top of the pot & kind of press the lid in place then fold the foil down over the pot a little way.).
  • Bake 3-4 hours @ 350 degrees.
  • Removed roast & stir gravy for serving.

Greetings from God's country, the beautiful state of Oregon. We have very cold winters here so I stay indoors & cook alot in the winter months. I love trying out new recipes. Thankfully my dear husband is game for anything, he'll eat it even if it turns out bad. Like the chicken & dumplings that turned out to be chicken & dumpling soup!!! I'm 58 yrs. old & have been in the kitchen for many years & find RecipeZaar my favorite cookbook, don't know how I got along without it.
