Onion Dip

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 1⁄2 cup sour cream
- 1⁄2 cup cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- salt and pepper
directions
- Heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic and cook until softened and starting to brown, about 10 minutes.
- In food processor combine sour cream, cream cheese, onion mixture, parsley, salt and pepper.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour.
- Serve with chips, pita or vegetables.

Now this is the kind of dip I really go for! Great tasting & easy to make, AND not from an envelope of soup mix! The only change I made was incidental ~ I substituted lemon pepper for the usual S&P! Thanks for the great recipe! {Made & reviewed for one of my adopted chefs in this Spring's Pick A Chef event]
