  • Mix the ingredients in the order given, beating with a wooden spoon after each item. Drop by spoons fulls on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake in a moderate 350 degree oven for 8 - 10 minutes, being careful not to overbake. When cool, frost with orange confectioner sugar frosting. Start with 1 1/2 cups of confectioners sugar with 1/4 cup orange juice, It mixes better in a saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly till you get it the right consistency.
