ingredients

2 (18 ounce) boxes devil's food cake mix
1 ¹⁄₃ cups shortening or 1 1/3 cups butter
4 eggs
Cream Filling
8 ounces cream cheese
4 cups powdered sugar
¹⁄₄ cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla

directions

Preheat oven to 375. Mix all together. Roll into 1 inch balls. Bake for 8 minutes or until hard. Mix together filling ingredients. Spread filling on underneath side of one cookie, then top with another cookie.
