Pan-Roasted Pork Chops

"I start these pork chops on the stove top in my cast iron skillet and then place them in the oven to finish cooking. I think the recipe is an adaptation of a BH&G's recipe."

 1. Made these in an air fryer last night, followed recipe. 400° 6 mins. flip 6 mins. more. Diffinetly make again.

 2. Not sure. My cuts were thick, 1-1/2 inch think. 6-8 minutes in the oven for second side was not enough. Trying another 6-8 minutes. Fingers crossed.

 3. Absolutely delicious!! Served with root veggies! Perfect first fall meal 2020!

 4. Turned out perfectly!!! I did add some fresh rosemary, but would be great without. I used all of the rub (to coat both sides of my 4 large bone in chops). Cooking directions spot on! 2 minutes to brown in hot cast iron skillet, flip and bake 8 minutes... and WaLaa!!! So flavorful and juicy! This will be my go to from now on for chops! Served w/spaghetti squash for an AMAZING meal! Thank you!

 5. This rub was wonderful. My pork chops were thin cut so I didn't need to put them in the oven. I did leave out the brown sugar (he's not a huge sweet meat fan!) My spouse loved it; thank you so much!

Tweaks

 1. Instead of rubbing it all over the pork chop I just put the dry rub in a big bowl and press the pork chop into the dry rub. Nice and crispy in a lot of coating went on each side

 3. I used chicken breasts because I was out of pork chops.

 4. I had originally planned on another recipe but ran short on time and hopped on this website to find something I could make fairly quickly and found this recipe and glad that I did - it was huge success and I have been asked to make it again.

I substituted 1 tsp onion flakes instead of powder and 1 tsp of prepared mustard
