  1. If I had read the reviews before I made this recipe, I wouldn't have. I too looked at the ingredients wet in one bowl and dry in another and thought this will not work, but I didn't want to through everything away and waste them. I thought my biggest concern was that my bread machine would not be able to mix the wet and dry ingredients well enough, so I mixed them myself. In doing that I could see that the moisture that would come from the peaches would solve the problem. I was still apprehensive, but I got a moist, fluffy, beautiful big loaf of really good bread. It isn't as peachy as I hoped it would be, but that is not a problem for me. I did use canned peaches, I think that if you are going to use frozen peaches, that you will need to thaw them first.

  2. Come on, look at the ratio of wet to dry ingredients. As I loaded the bread machine I realized this was not going to work. I went by the recipe and used frozen peaches. I think the frozen peaches didn't have the same water content as the fresh or canned peaches. I added 4T of water when the dough was not forming up but that helped very little.

  3. We had an ultimate fail. Husband is gluten free and we used redmill 1 to 1 instead of bread flour. We also used regular whipping cream instead of heavy.

  4. I made this just as written, using fresh peaches. The taste was slightly sweet with only a hint of peach flavor. The texture came out sort of airy and dry. It was best toasted. I think I'd omit the egg next time. Not sure. Thanx for posting!
