Peaches N' Cream Pie

"This is my grandmother's recipe...a very different, non-traditional peach pie that produces a creamy, almost cake-like dessert. Very easy, and best when served well-chilled."

  1. Excellent. Tastes as good as the name implies. I'd have liked it better without the cinnamon though.

  2. very delicious

  3. Manda, we LOVED it! The only change I made was to add sugar to the bottom dough (4 tbsp). It is light and probably delicious with ice cream. We ate warm and just enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing such a delicious recipe. (Since there was no mention I used a 20 oz can of peaches.)

  5. I loved this pie. I have made it 3 or 4 times. I made it as the recipe directs the first time then I started altering it. It was great each time. The secodn time I added more milk to the curst and it made it less heavy. I also made yogart cheese in place of the cream cheese. It tased the same but the yougart cheese was a little runny and ran out of the pan, so I'd make it in a deeper pan. The next time I made it with more milk in the crust and it reminded me of cinnamon rolls (ya know, sponge) it was good! I aso added walnuts to the top. I went back to the cream cheese. Like I said, each time was great! Thanks for sharing Manda!
