  1. This is absolutely the best brittle recipe I have ever used--I did stuff a bit different as I was doubling and needed a bit without nuts for someone so I put my mixture of peanuts and toasted almonds on pan and poured brittle mixture over them- WOW--this brittle was so nice!! It will be hard to stay away from it so I have enough for my Christmas food gift boxes!!Thanks very much!!

  2. This recipe was great. I saw it and took it to work for a food day, everyone loved it. I also saved some at home all of my daughters friends loved it. THANKS A BUNCH!!

  3. Absolutely deliscious. I had to stirred in a little butter and it tasted exactly like the expensive stuff you can order. Unfortunatly I can't stop eating it.

  4. I use the recipe as is but doubled to fit a large baker's sheet pan. It comes out thick this way which is my signature. I use raw peanuts and add at about 300 degrees which drops the temp. When it comes back up to the hard crack stage, I add the soda, stir fast and spread in the pan. Family says it is the best ever. It has a light crunch and doesn't stick to the teeth like some recipes. This is my "keeper". Thank you for posting the recipe!
