Topping
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup flour
- 1⁄4 cup peanut butter
- 2 teaspoons butter (melted)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon

Cream the Following
- 2 eggs
- 1⁄3 cup shortening
- 1⁄2 cup peanut butter
- 1 1⁄2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup milk

Dry Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
directions
- Mix Together Topping Ingredients.
- Cream together shortening, peanut butter, and brown sugar.
- Mix the dry ingredients, flour, cinnamon, baking powder and salt.
- Add alternately to creamed mixture 1 cup of milk and the mixed dry ingredients.
- Fill baking cups about 1/2 to 3/4's full.
- Sprinkle topping on each cupcake.
- Bake at 375 for 18 - 20 minutes.

My daughter made these yesterday. I liked them better than she did. She wanted a more intense peanut butter flavor; the cinnamon predominates. These came out very light and a bit crumbly, but not dry. I enjoyed them; thank you! -
Delicious! Easy to make. I added a little vanilla. Tastes great with a glass of milk! next time I think I want to drizzle a little chocolate over the top of them! YUM! -
