  • Fondant

  • 1 lb powdered sugar
  • 13 cup Karo syrup
  • water (just enough to form a ball)
  • Chocolate coating

  • 1 lb ghirardelli dipping chocolate
  • Peanut butter cups

  • 14 cup creamy peanut butter
  • Peppermint Patties

  • 2 teaspoons peppermint extract

  • Divide fondant ball into two pieces.
  • Peanut butter cups:-----------------------------------------------------------------------.
  • Add peanut butter to half of the fondant ball.
  • Roll about 1 T. of peanut butter fondant into a ball and flatten slightly with your palm. Repeat with all the peanut butter fondant. This makes the centers for the peanut butter cups.
  • Set out a mini-muffin cup for each of the peanut butter centers you made.
  • Melt half the chocolate microwave on half-power. Stir every 30 seconds until smooth and DON'T overheat.
  • Pour a little melted chocolate in the bottom of a mini-muffin cup and place a peanut butter center on top of the chocolate. Fill the cup about 3/4 full of chocolate. Save your "dirty" chocolate dish, you'll use it again.
  • Allow chocolate to harden and peanut butter cups are finished!
  • Peppermint Patties:-----------------------------------------------------------------------.
  • Add peppermint extract to the 2nd half of the fondant ball.
  • Roll about 1 T. of the peppermint fondant into a ball and flatten slightly with your palm. Repeat with all the peppermint fondant. This makes the centers for the peppermint patties.
  • Set out a mini-muffin cup for each of the peppermint centers you made.
  • Melt half the chocolate microwave on half-power. Stir every 30 seconds until smooth and DON'T overheat.
  • Pour a little melted chocolate in the bottom of a mini-muffin cup and place a peppermint center on top of the chocolate. Fill the cup about 3/4 full of chocolate.
  • Allow chocolate to harden and peppermint patties are finished!
  • Keep some for yourself and give the rest as gifts!
