- 1⁄2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened
- 1⁄4 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 10 ounces peanut butter chips or 10 ounces chocolate chips
- 1⁄2 cup chocolate syrup (optional)
directions
- Heat oven to 350. Grease a 13x9 pan.
- Beat butter and peanut butter in a large bowl. Add sugars and beat well. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each one. Beat in vanilla.
- Stir in dry ingredients and mix well. Add peanut butter chips.
- Spread 1/2 of batter in pan and spoon syrup over the top. Carefully top with the rest of the batter and use a butter knife to swirl for the marbled look.
- Bake 35-40 minute or until lightly browned on top. Cool on wire rack and cut into squares.
