- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1⁄2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 (4 ounce) cans diced green chilies, drained
- 1⁄4 cup dried onion flakes, softened in 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 cups pecans, chopped
directions
- In large bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chiles, softened onion flakes, garlic powder and cayenne pepper.
- Form into two 8” logs, wrap and refrigerate for about 15 minutes. Place nuts on waxed paper and roll each log in the nuts.
- Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for at least1 hour.
- Serve with crackers and sliced fruit and vegetable.
