  1. Do NOT use a medium cookie scoop to make these cookies. These cookies spread, and the medium cookie scoop makes a HUGE cookie. The small (1 tsp) cookie scoop would be great, if I had one. The taste is delicious, and I will make again (when my small cookie scoop gets here)!

  2. My mother-in-law uses this exact recipe every Christmas. It's delicious!

I live in to Jacksonville, FL with my husband, 2 daughters (17 and 11), 4 cats, and 2 dogs. My favorite things to make are cookies/bars and pound cakes. I have had a great time cooking since discovering Recipezaar January 2002. This is a picture of my youngest cat, Lily. She is my sweet sweet little baby.
