  1. Awesome!

  2. I am from PA and I grew up on Whoopie Pies and this recipe is just like my grandmother's. I made my spoonfuls bigger than a teaspoon and ended up with some pretty big whoopie pies but that's ok. Also, I set my oven on 350 and left them in 8 minutes and they turned out perfectly!

  3. What the heck? At 400 degrees these cookies burned well before 8 mins ? Did anyone else have this trouble? I have lowered the oven temp to 350 and see what that does. So disappointed in that first tray of whoopie pies getting burnt.

  4. These are GREAT!!!!! We live in Wy. and don't hear of these around here, but my husband is originally from Pa. and remembers his mom making these, but they called them Gobs. So I looked on here for a recipe for them. Hubby was impressed and said they were like his Mom's! (I was hoping since they were called PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH whoopie pies!). Thanks for the recipe and helping me impress the hubby, (which is hard to do)!!!!!

Hi! I am Tami and a SAHM of 4 children, ranging in age 18 to 4. So I have ALOT of different likes and dislikes when cooking! I like to try new things and give it my own personal twist! The only pet peeve I seem to have is people who stop right in front of you in the grocery aisle for NO reason whatsoever!! They seem to be the same people I get behind while driving also!!!
