Philly Steak Salad

"I found this recipe on Allrecipies a few years back. It is one of my 18 year old daughters all time favorites. I usually make this during the summer months. The steak needs to marinate; I usually have it sit in the marinade all day while I'm at work for more flavor. Please note the prep time does not include marinating."

  1. This is very good! This type of salad is very popular in western Pennsylvania so I was thrilled to find it. The melted cheese on the French fries is just yummy. The steak turned out very tender and flavorful. I did omit the garbanzo beans because I didn't have any handy. Thanks for sharing. Made for All New Zaar Cookbooks Tag game.

I am married to a great guy and have three children. Two are in college and one is in high school. Besides cooking Zaar recipes, I love to read suspense novels and days at the beach (they go hand in hand in my opinion!). Recently we discovered a beach on the Atlantic that allows dogs, so we have been enjoying taking our two dogs for a romp in the waves. I am totally addicted to 'Zaar and love all of the wonderful recipes I have found and made. Recently I have been low carbing it. I have found many of these wonderful recipes on 'Zaar that my family has really enjoyed - phew!
