- 1 lb lean ground beef (browned and drained)
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 small white onion (diced)
- 1 small green bell pepper (diced)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can pinto beans
directions
- Drain browned ground beef, add tomatoes, pinto beans, onion,and bell pepper.
- Simmer 20 minutes until onion and bell pepper soften.
- Add salt, pepper and celery seed. Simmer 20 more minutes. Spoon into bowls and serve.
