Playdough

"This is so fun and easy to make. I used to divide the cooled dough up and let the kids help knead it just by playing with it. This is fun."

 1. Very Easy!
I put all of the stuff in bowls, and let my girls mix it up. Then I add boiling water and help mix it the rest of the way. We made four batches in like 20 minutes. Also stores very well in baggies.
Great recipe.

 2. I have been making this recipe for years. My girls have always helped me make it and they love to choose the color of the dough. It always fun to play with as well esp. on a stormy day. Great stress reliever for the adults...pounding, squeezing, etc.

 3. Worked great, I didn't have the cream of tartar (not sure what it's supposed to do) but used fruit fresh citric acid instead . No problems at all, the recipe worked perfectly.

 4. I really love this recipe. The playdough lasts a really long time, even longer than the store bought stuff. The first time I made it I added the color before I cooked it, like the recipe said and it worked really well. The second time I tried to make two colours, so I added the food colouring after it was cooked and divided into two balls - mistake. It took forever to blend and was much harder to get the colour I wanted. Next time I'll just make two batches.

 5. Wonderful, my children LOVE playdough. Instead of food coloring, I used a kool-aid packet for color. Cherry works great for a deep pink, grape is a dull purple, lemon is a fun yellow....etc. Fun, fun, fun.
