ingredients
- 4 boneless pork chops, 3/4 inch thick
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can campbell condensed golden mushroom soup
- 1 (8 ounce) can pineapple chunks
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 cups cooked rice
- sliced green onion
directions
- Season chops with garlic.
- Heat oil in skillet.
- Add chops and cook until browned.
- Add onion.
- Add soup, pineapple with juice, water, soy and honey.
- Heat to a boil.
- Cook over low heat 10 minutes or until done.
- Serve with rice and garnish with green onions.

These were a great "in a pinch" meal. We had the ingredients on hand, and it was quick and easy to pull together after a busy day. We needed to add an extra dollop of honey because the canned pineapples we used were a bit on the tart side. Also, to add to the instructions, I removed the pork after browning them and added them back after I brought the sauce ingredients to a boil. I didn't cover this as it simmered, and it reduced the sauce to a really great consistency. Thanks for posting this recipe!
