  1. This is a dish that makes me proud to be Portuguese!!! I always serve it over Basmatti Rice and everyone loves it. I have brought it to many potlucks and I always get asked the recipe

  2. Great recipe! We had plenty of leftovers so I served it with marinara sauce over pasta the second time around.

  3. We enjoyed these shrimp and scallops! but we did find the sauce a little too sharp, I think the combination of dry wine and the lemon juice was a little overwhelming. If i were to make it again I would either cut one of them out or cut both in half. I will try it again and next time will serve it over brown rice. thanks for posting.

I live in the Phoenix area where the sun always shines. I love to cook and garden. I am a "gadget freak" and seem to buy every cooking tool that comes on the market. Currently, I'm playing with pressure cooker cuisine. If I could take a month off, I'd go to Italy and go to 3-4 different cooking schools. My favorite cookbook is "The New Professional Chef" by the Culinary Institute of America. The dog in the photo is Scout, who just happens to be the best dog in the world.
