  • Beat sugar and oil until well mixed.
  • Add eggs and beat for 2 minutes.
  • Add pumpkin and beat well.
  • Add flour and spices.
  • Add water and mix well.
  • Pour into well greased pans and bake at 350F for 1 hour.
  • Cool in pans for about 20 minutes Recipe makes 2 large loaf pans.

I live in Louisiana and am the office manager for a plant nursery. Love to cook. My favorite cookbook is New Southern Living by Nathalie Dupree.
