Ingredients: 4 eggs, slightly beaten; 3 cups canned pumpkin; 1 1/2 cups sugar; 1 teaspoon salt; 2 tablespoons cinnamon; 1/2 teaspoon clove; 1/2 teaspoon ginger; 2 1/2 cups light cream; 1 box yellow cake mix; 1 cup butter, melted; 1 cup chopped pecans

ingredients

4 eggs, slightly beaten
3 cups canned pumpkin
1 ¹⁄₂ cups sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons cinnamon
¹⁄₂ teaspoon clove
¹⁄₂ teaspoon ginger
2 ¹⁄₂ cups light cream
1 box yellow cake mix
1 cup butter, melted
1 cup chopped pecans

directions

Mix together in order given all but last 3 ingredients.
Pour into ungreased 9"x13" pan.
Sprinkle cake mix over pie filling.
Pour melted butter over cake mix.
Sprinkle with nuts.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Serve with whipped cream.

Really great and easy to make. I used butter buds instead of the butter, egg substitues, and 3/4 cup sugar and 3/4 cup sugar substitute to lessen the calories and fat, but it turned out grreat and terrificly satisfying.

I decided to veer from my normal recipe. This just didnt work for me at all. I ended up with hot flour on top and pumpkin custard underneath. I big waste, considering I used all organic products. I'll be using my regular pumpkin pudding cake recipe next time.
