  1. This recipe is also excellent if you omit the chocolate. I boil the mixture 3 to 4 minutes for a more firmer fudge -like texture. This is one of my all-time favorie recipes. I subsitute butter instead of margarine for a richer taste. I love this recipe!

  4. This were a little too sweet for my taste, but my guests didn't seem to have that issue. They gobbled them up. Next time I'll try using crunchy peanut butter instead. I like them frozen. This easy recipe is definitely a keeper.

  5. This is one of my favorite cookie recipes. Especially when I don't want to heat up the kitchen. This is the cookie my family fights over.

Tweaks

  1. excellent recipe. i made in in a rush for something quick. instead of using stove top, i used the microwave and just heated the sugar, milk, cocoa, vanilla and margarine first and then melted the peanut butter as soon as it came out and stired in the oatmeal quickly aftewards. i plopped them onto some foil paper and then left it to go dress for my event and they were good and ready to go. excellent if you're looking for something fast. perfect as a dessert for an office potluck!
