  1. Very easy. I use spaghetti sauce instead of tomato sauce and serve with sour cream. I find the cumin is a little overpowering without it.

  2. This is a great (and fast!) recipe. The only change I made was to add a little extra spice to it. We had this with salsa chicken, and it went really well together. I'll definetely make this again. Thanks!

  3. Very good rice and I enjoyed the spicy flavor from the chili powder and cumin. I used brown instant rice, more corn, and a bit more water could have been used. Topped with sour cream and served with recipe #295945 by TeresaS. Made and reviewed for the photo forum's Lite and Low Recipe Event.

  4. Pretty spicy! I made it in the microwave with 1 cup long grain rice and 2 cups water and without the corn. Cook the rice and water covered for 6 minutes on high and 5 minutes on 50% power. Add tomato sauce and seasonings. Cook 10 minutes on 50% power. Let rest covered about 2 minutes. Stir and serve. Thanks!

  5. pretty good and easy, not much flavor, though

I have a growing family - 3 horses, 2 dogs (1 being a Great Dane)!, 2 children, 2 cats and a boyfriend. I work quite a bit either at work or on the farm taking care of the "children" - my boyfriend is a stay at home "step-dad" to all and is a former chef so we like to find new ways to cook old foods. This year we will be growing an organic garden and I am ever so excited about it. Organics are a large part of our lives, and they can really put a strain on your pocket book!
