Raisin Brown Bread

"This is a very old recipe my mother used to make. She said her mother made it for her when she was young and she doesn't know where my grandmother got it from. I thought it was cool to see my mom steam them in empty cans."

  1. I definitely recall my own mom using coffee cans to bake her brown bread, & so this recipe caught my attention! Easy enough to put together, & the resulting bread is outstanding ~ Love the combo of whole wheat & molasses here, & I was very generous with the amount of raisins that I used! Thanks for posting this great recipe! [Tagged & made in Please Review My Recipe]
