Raw Chocolate Macaroons

"This is not my recipe but I don't remember where I got it. Delicious, fast, and healthy. Freeze for a rich, fudgy treat or dehydrate for a more traditional cookie texture."

Questions & Replies

  1. Hello, Thank you for the recipe! My local health food store sells packaged macaroons that have the same ingredients. They are called Kuzala Raw Coconut Macaroons. They are very expensive so I want to make my own. Am I missing the nutrition facts on this post? Could you let me know the calories and carb content minus dietary fiber? Thank you!

Reviews

  1. Love this recipe. I cut 1/4 of the cacao and put cacao nibs. Also added raw pistachios and 2 tbsp cashew butter. So amazingly delish!!!

  2. Dee-lish! This did NOT make 24, due to my snitches along the way! Used my Cuisinart to process the coconut flakes and mix the rest of the ingredients in. I elected to do half frozen and half dehydrated, so will take votes from the family on which way to go next time. Very quick and easy. Definitely will make again, soon!

  3. Loved how these turned out. I used Nutiva's Cacao Nibs instead of powder. I zapped them in the blender for a finer texture but it is still more coarse than a powder. They froze up nicely. I used 2 Tbs of coconut oil and will use less next time. Enjoy!
