Salad
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 green onion, julienned
- 1⁄4 cup bean sprouts (1 handful)
- 1⁄4 cup fresh raw papaya, julienned (optional)
- 1⁄4 cup fresh mint leaves (1 handful)
- 1⁄4 cup fresh cilantro (1 handful)
- 1⁄4 cup fresh Thai basil (1 handful) (optional)

Dressing
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
- favorite hot sauce, such as Sriracha (to taste) (optional)
directions
- Mix carrots, green onions, bean sprouts, and papaya (if using) in a small bowl.
- Coarsely chop mint, cilantro, and basil and add to rest of salad.
- In a small bowl or cup, mix hoisin sauce and rice vinegar. Pour over salad and serve immediately.
