ingredients
- 3 -4 lbs baby back ribs
- 1 (28 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
- 4 fresh basil leaves
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
directions
- In a large skillet brown ribs 5-6 minutes.
- Cut into individual ribs.
- Place in 3 1/2 quart sized slow cooker.
- Mix remaining ingredients; mix well.
- Pour over ribs.
- Cover.
- Cook on low 7-8 hours or until cooked though and tender.

I was looking for something I could prepare ahead and this was it.I had the ribs in the freezer, so decided to give this a try,and I have to admit it was not only quick it was just what the doctor ordered.I made some mac salad to go with it, and added a tossed salad......dinner was ready.The only change I made was the sugar, I subbed equal for the sugar as my husband is diabetic and he raved about the ribs.Thanks for great meal Brauna!!!
