  1. Combine vanilla pudding and heavy whipping cream in saucepan.
  2. Cook until pudding thickens.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Add dark rum to taste.
  5. Allow pudding mixture to cool.
  6. Combine whipping cream and sugar.
  7. Beat with mixer until it forms stiff peaks.
  8. Fold half of whipping cream into pudding mixture.
  9. Slice angel food cake into 3 layers.
  10. Coat inside of trifle bowl with raspberry preserves.
  11. Place bottom layer of angel food cake in trifle bowl.
  12. Sprinkle with dark rum.
  13. Spread half of pudding mixture over cake.
  14. Place half of the fruit on pudding.
  15. Repeat with second layer of cake, pudding, rum and fruit.
  16. Top with last layer of cake.
  17. Using remaining whipped cream, pipe onto top of trifle with decorator's tip.
