ingredients
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons peanut butter
- 2 teaspoons chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon soya sauce
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cups cooked chickpeas
- 1 1⁄2 cups cooked rice
- 1⁄2 cup finely chopped celery
- 1 cup grated cheese
- whole wheat flour
- 1⁄2 cup sesame seeds
- 1⁄2 cup whole wheat flour
directions
- Saute onion and garlic in oil until onions are soft.
- Place in food processor with the next six ingredients.
- Mix well.
- Put into large bowl and add the celery, rice and enough flour to bind.
- Shape into patties/burgers and coat with the sesame seeds and flour mixed together.
- Cook 3-5 minutes on each side.
- Serve with sauce of your choice.
