Satay Patties

"A recipe I have made many, many times, either as patties or as large burgers to have as vegetarian burgers. You can make it as spicy as you like. I usually make up large quantities and place them in the freezer to have on hand as required. I love it served with plum sauce."

  • Saute onion and garlic in oil until onions are soft.
  • Place in food processor with the next six ingredients.
  • Mix well.
  • Put into large bowl and add the celery, rice and enough flour to bind.
  • Shape into patties/burgers and coat with the sesame seeds and flour mixed together.
  • Cook 3-5 minutes on each side.
  • Serve with sauce of your choice.
