This is a great cake...the smell is fabulous and the taste is very unique. When I was a little girl there was a restaurant we used to go to that served Scotch Cake. I loved it and when we moved from my home town I was never able to find it again. Though not exact, this cake is very similar. It's wonderful with freshly whipped cream on the side and a steaming cup of coffee. Thank you for the recipe!
