Directions

  1. Mix all dry ingredients with margarine.
  2. Take 1 cup of mixture and reserve for topping and set aside.
  3. Dissolve baking soda in hot water.
  4. Add molasses, water and dissolved baking soda.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan.
  7. Sprinkle with reserved topping mixture.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
