Stephanie, this is divine! I made it exactly as written. We had another couple over for dinner, and between the 4 of us, we polished off ALL of this! The side salads I made went virtually untouched as we ooohhed and ahhhhed our way through the meal. I have had Shrimp Creole before, but this is absolutely the best! Thanks for a great recipe... this one will get a lot of use!

This was an excellent recipe. Very simple and quick prep, but a taste that is out of this world. I used 2 cups chicken broth instead of water and it was great. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the cooking time listed for the shrimp. As an experienced cook, I know if you simmer shrimp for 30 minutes, you will end up with dried out rubber. Shrimp cook for 3-5 minutes, not 30. If the cooking time is adjusted, I would give this 5+++++ stars.
