Simple, yet Delicious Pizzas!
"I made this recipe in college when I was low on ingredients, starving, yet too busy studying to really cook anything. Very simple recipe and VERY tasty. Great for kids and picky husbands!"

ingredients
- 1 English muffin
- 2 tablespoons pizza sauce or 2 tablespoons marinara sauce
- 1⁄4 cup mozzarella cheese or 1/4 cup pizza cheese, shredded
- 3 pepperoni
directions
- Toast english muffins.
- Put a spoonful of pizza sauce or marinara sauce on each side of english muffin.
- Top with cheese and pepperoni.
- Place in oven broiler or toaster oven until cheese is melted.
- Enjoy!

This was perfect for a quick, easy dinner when I was too busy to make something more complicated. I grabbed an English muffin from the freezer, a packet of pizza sauce (also in the freezer, divided into personal-pizza-size amounts), and some pre-cooked turkey bacon as I didn't have any pepperoni. Let the muffin & sauce thaw while I worked on other things; add some cheese from the fridge, heat, and supper is done! Thanks so much for sharing! -

I never have pizza sauce on hand but always tomato paste! Mix in some garlic powder, basil, oregano, salt, pepper and a drizzle of olive oil. Easy Peasy pizza sauce! What you do not use can be frozen in teaspoon sized dollops and be quickly thawed for future pizzas!

It was a quick lunch. I made it with marinara sauce, black olives and cheddar cheese. DS usually doesn't like english muffins, but that way, it was good for him. Thanks Mrs. Unrath :) Made for Alphabet tag game -
What a great recipe for a quick dinner when you need something quick. I had some leftover homemade pizza sauce and topped with the cheese, pepperoni and I added onions (love onions). This recipe has so many options that could be used. Thank you for posting. Made for Fall PAC 2012.
