Slow Cooker Mediterranean Pot Roast

- 3 medium garlic cloves, minced
- 2 teaspoons basil, dried
- 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 1⁄2 lbs boneless chuck roast, all visible fat removed
- 1 1⁄2 cups spaghetti sauce
- 16 ounces spaghetti
directions
- Sprinkle the garlic, basil, oregano and red pepper flakes over both sides of the meat.
- Pour 1 cup spaghetti sauce into a crock pot.
- Place the meat over the sauce.
- Pour the remaining 1/2 cup sauce over meat.
- Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or until the meat is fork tender.
- Transfer the meat to a cutting board and Cover loosely with aluminum foil.
- Spoon off and discard any fat from sauce in the crock pot.
- About 12 minutes before serving time, prepare spaghetti according to package directions. Drain well.
